It's a place where students between the ages of 10 and 13 can be together and continue to move forward in discovering what it means to follow Jesus.  Lots of changes are happening and we want to be there to support and encourage.  We also desire to provide places where these students can establish additional relationships with adults in our community that they can trust.

Fall Events!

Unbirthday Party
What: Bring a $5 or less wrapped gift for the gift exchange!  We'll have fun games and yummy food! Bring a gift, a snack (if you want) and a friend!
When: September 25
What time: 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Twelve Bridges Park (next to the elementary school)

Ice Cream
What: Let's go out for ice cream!  We'll just hang out and catch up!
When: October 9
What time: 3:00-4:30pm
Where: Home Spun (near Safeway)
Cost: about $5 for ice cream.

Movie Night
What: We're going to watch a movie!
When: November 13
What time: TBA
Where: TBA

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
What: Christmast lights and tailgating!
When: December 11
What time: 6:00-8:00pm

Hang out with your D-Group leaders
What: Get together to hang out w/ your 10/13 leaders one on one or with a few of your friends.
When: Whenever works for you before D-Groups start.
Where: Starbucks, Jamba Juice, your house, wherever!
Why: To get to know your leaders and so they can get to know you
Who: Anyone 10-13 years old and those related to them.

Serving at Emmaus:
     There are always opportunities for students to be involved at Emmaus by serving in different areas: set-up (start learning about live sound and how it gets put together), media (powerpoint, video), greeting, Emmaus Kids (serve the young children of Emmaus by helping their teachers in their classes on Sunday morning,) as well as others.
     For those interested, contact Kathryn (Kathryn@emmauscommunity.org, 707.294.7732) to set up a meeting.  We can also walk with your student through strength finding exercises to help them understand a bit more about how God has wired them. Follow this link to have your student take the test and then we can meet with them to follow up and encourage them forward. (There is a cost for the test).
