Nathan is committed to the restoration of the local church. With his family and a few good friends, he started Emmaus in 2005. Nathan’s formal education focused on the history and practice of spiritual formation. With 20 years of pastoral experience, he leads and teaches toward practical, meaningful transformation.
Rich is passionate about God's Kingdom, his family, the art of leadership, and keeping fit. Rich shepherds Emmaus by providing organizational leadership and running the day-to-day operations of the church's ministries. Previously, Rich served as a missionary in Ethiopia with his family, has now been in ministry for more than a decade, and is working toward completing a Masters Degree in Leadership.
Sandie loves to uncover value and cheer people on in their true identity and mission. She has been in ministry since she graduated from Biola University in 1991. She is a certified Strengths Advisor and also working towards her life coaching certification. Sandie provides leadership at Emmaus in the areas of assimilation, soul care, discipleship and outreach.
Juli loves being a wife, mom, and grandma who is called to a mission of passionately and creatively serving children and their families as they fall in love with Christ. She has her BA in social work and a Masters in children and family ministry but her real education has come from living a life of adventure with God. Her passion is contagious, energy vibrant, and she is innovative with her God-given creativity.
Darrell has been leading worship since age 16 in churches, camps, home groups, and conferences. During his 30 years of ministry experience he has done everything from cleaning the bathrooms to being a church-planting lead pastor. His BA from Simpson University is in Christian Ministry Leadership. Darrell is fueled by seeing the church encounter Jesus, respond with whole-life adoration, and then go out to be part of God’s plan for restoration and redemption of all things.
Anglin is passionate about connecting with others, especially with those in the local community. He has served in ministry for over 10 years and has a soft spot for young people and their development. Anglin serves as the Director of The Foundry where he witnesses the transformation of Lincoln’s junior high and high school students.
Angela is captivated by stories. The stories that she loves the most involve the restoration of people's lives. Angela's formal education includes a Master's degree in literature. She teaches at a local college and is enrolled in a course of study to become a minister in the Church of the Nazarene. She has been involved in high school ministry since the 1990s.
